WEEK #1 SUMMARY

-SAN FRANCISCO- So… It’s been a week and half, and we’re really starting to get into the vibe of this undeniably cool city. There is so much to say about San Francisco that it’s difficult to know where to start… So here’s a summary about everything that makes us fall in love more and more everyday :

THE CITY : Remember this commonly called thing The American Dream, where all the houses seem perfect and every single person you cross in the street either smiles at you or says hi? Well. That’s pretty much it. There are so many colourful houses and happy hippies that make this city full of life. You never get bored here, there’s always something or someone to entertain you. Obviously, everywhere we go, we get reminded that San Francisco really knows what’s up : hipsters, artists, and fashionistas walk (or bike) the streets like there is no tomorrow. Talking about bikes, it’s like bicycle heaven here. Not only are the bikes sublime, but the people riding them are even more hot ! Oh and also, we were kind of surprised to encounter dogs in bars… They’re everywhere! But who doesn’t love these puppies, especially after a couple of drinks?

THE FOOD : Mmmmmmmmmm. Foooooood. The thing with San Francisco is that there are Coffee shops, Bakeries, Chinese & Donuts (don’t ask, but for some reasons these two things go well together here), Sushi, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Fusion American, and Taqueria restaurants at EVERY-SINGLE-CORNER. Food is so easy access, and most importantly, so fresh and local, that it’s a culture in itself.  At least we’re lucky this city is full of hills, which is really practical when you walk everywhere because it makes the burrito go down real easy !

THE COFFEE : Americano, Latte, Capuccino, Machiatto, Espresso, Mochaccino, name it! Coffee is like an art and Baristas are like modern heroes here… Perfect creamy foam with a little design, or else it’s garbage! Also most of Coffee Shops brew their own coffee, inside their own shop, which really reflects the whole “local” trend.
